March 2010: iRes Booking Engine now offers room images

The iRes booking engine continues to deliver online revenue to clients across the hospitality industry from large hotel chains to smaller hotel & guesthouse properties. As part of a recent iRes upgrade, clients can now add an image which will be shown to bookers when they are booking using iRes. This allows clients to up sell guests during the booking process as well as showing guests what their rooms would look like and influencing the purchasing decision

February 2010: iRes booking engine goes from strength to strength

More and more hotels are making the switch to the iRes hotel booking engine. iRes continues to deliver online web bookings for clients across the UK and Ireland and with new clients signing up weekly, we are confident of continued growth.

December 2009: Gay Byrne Launches Fis Book Club Website

Gay Byrne recently launched the Fis Book Club website which has been developed by p3. Over 180 schools now participate on the site and have submitted over 700 book reviews. Keeping the site safe for children aged between 5 and 12 and a number of security measures have been put in place to ensure that children use the site in a controlled and safe environment.

August 2009: Successful Relaunch of Cork Luxury Hotels Websites

The Cork Luxury Hotel Group have just finished working with p3 to redevelop and redesign the group website along with the websites for all hotels within the Group. Cork Luxury Hotel Group is made up of The Ambassador Hotel Cork City, Watersedge Hotel Cobh, Oriel House Hotel Ballincollig and Charleville Park Hotel Charleville. Teachers rush to sign up to Eurocreator website

There has been a rush of both teachers and students signing up to the Eurocreator website. The Eurocreater website was developed by p3. EuroCreator asks pupils across Europe to create at least one piece of digital media which can then be shared with students from other EU countries. The site is managed by IADT (Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology), an Apple Regional Training Centre in Ireland, who coordinate a team of teachers from across Europe that moderate the site. p3 wish Eurocreator continued sucess in this venture. p3 At Eye For Travel 2009

Phelim Pekaar, Managing Director p3 and Laura Greally, Online Marketing Executive with p3, both gave presentations at the 2009 Eye For Travel Event which took place in the Business Design Centre in London in May 2009.

Drawing on his extensive experience within the travel industry, Phelim spoke on the topic "Backend functionality and ease of use for your hotel - how to select the best booking engine for your hotel business". Phelim has extensive experience of designing and developing booking engines as p3 has recently launched a hotel booking engine called iRes.

Laura gave hotels an insight into what are the trends with the hotel industry at the moment and what online marketing strategies can hoteliers employ to drive their online business.

New Jurys Inns website leads to increases in numbers booking

January 2009: Despite a gloomy economic outlook, Jurys Inns Hotel Group have seen the number of bookings jump by 24%. This growth has been as a result of redesigning the Jurys Inns website which has made booking any one of the 24 Jurys Inns throughout the UK and Ireland easier for customers, significantly increased the number of bookings made online and led to cost reductions for the Jurys Inns Group.

Like all hotel groups, Jurys Inns relies on the internet to drive bookings and required a new website and a reliable booking engine. P3 undertook to provide a solution for Jurys Inns which would allow for easy and secure bookings online.

p3 develop Eurocreator website

p3, developed the Eurocreator website which was launched in 2009. EuroCreator is an educational initiative designed to encourage students and teachers throughout Europe to create at least one piece of media. To support this initiative, the EuroCreator website has been developed to facilitate educators and recognise and reward the creativity of young people. EuroCreator offers a pan European platform for students and educators to get creative and share their work.

Golden Spiders 2008: Two p3 Websites Shortlisted for Golden Spiders Awards 2008

p3 Technology are delighted with the news that two websites developed by p3 have been shortlisted for Golden Spiders Awards.

Carlton Hotel Group was shortlisted in The Best Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Website category while Manna Heavenly Foods was shortlisted in the Best E-Business Website Category. The event took place in the Burlington Hotel in November 2008 and recognizes Irish individuals and organizations for their achievements online.

Carlton Hotel Group was shortlisted in the Best Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Website category. Relaunched in May 2008, www.Carlton.ie is a visually appealing, user-friendly and content rich travel website where users can search for and book luxury hotels throughout Ireland. Users are presented with high quality imagery and concise information to make planning their trips as easy as possible. The project, which was delivered by p3, involved a complete redesign and restructuring of www.Carlton.ie and the seven individual Carlton hotel websites. Furthermore, by investing in a state-of-the-art content management system, iPublish and a new eZine manager, Carlton are now in direct control of the systems that power the group's most important "shop window" allowing for direct and instant communication with customers.

Manna Heavenly Food was shortlisted in the Best E-Business Website Category. Manna has pioneered a unique application of web technology in a very traditional industry - catering. Manna's "virtual canteen" allows schools and other organizations to offer a meal service to pupils and staff without the hassle of managing on site canteen facilities. The web is used to manage the intake and scheduling of orders and the processing of payments. The ordering application and Manna website were created by p3 Technology. Manna and p3 work closely together to ensure that www.Manna.ie uses cutting edge applications and has a prominent web presence.

Castle Leslie - Website relaunch leads to 300% growth in traffic

Following the relaunch of www.CastleLeslie.com, 2008 visitor figures are now 300% ahead of last year. Driven by increased search engine visibility, Castle Leslie has increased their share of internet business and now has a strong platform to grow their internet bookings.

Jurys Inns - iContract Streamlines Tour Operator Contracting

Following the introduction of iContract, Jurys Inns have streamlined the management of their tour operator contracts, freeing up more time for face-to-face sales calls. iContract helps the Jurys Inns sales team to manage the contracting process with large numbers of tour operators via a secure online interface.

p3 wins County Enterprise Award

Phelim Pekaar of p3 took the Overall Prize at the finals of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Enterprise Awards 2007. Phelim received his award from Cllr. Denis O'Callaghan, Cathaoirleach of DLR CoCo and Paddy Beare, Chairman of DLR CEB. The competition was open to Micro-Enterprises (up to 10 employees) in the County that had received Board funding in the past.
